Où voir « L’Ile rouge » de Robin Campillo en Pays de la Loire ?

Le dernier long métrage de Robin Campillo « L’Ile rouge » est toujours à l’affiche de nombreux cinémas en Pays de la Loire. Soutenu par la Région, en partenariat avec le CNC, ne manquez pas ce film du réalisateur aux quatre César.

Ce long métrage, qui se déroule à Madagascar au début des années 70 sur une base de l’armée française, a reçu une aide de 150 000 € de la Région des Pays de la Loire en partenariat avec le CNC et a bénéficié de l’appui du bureau d’accueil des tournages. Il fait écho à l’enfance du réalisateur qui a vécu dans son jeune âge à Madagascar, surnommée l’île rouge.

C’est Charlie Vauselle, originaire de Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, du haut de ses 9 ans, qui a obtenu un des rôles principaux suite à un casting organisé en Pays de la Loire. Il partage l’affiche avec Nadia Tereszkiewicz et Quim Gutiérrez.

Synopsis

Début des années 70, sur une base de l’armée française à Madagascar, les militaires et leurs familles vivent les dernières illusions du colonialisme.
